Good printing starts with good artwork. Many production problems come from files that are the wrong size, low resolution or missing bleed.
Set the correct finished size
Create artwork at the final print dimensions whenever possible.
Add bleed
Bleed extends backgrounds beyond the trim edge and helps prevent thin white lines after cutting.
Keep important content inside safe margins
Text, logos and QR codes should not sit too close to the cut edge.

Use high-resolution images
For many close-view products, 300 DPI at final size is a common target. Large-format products may use different effective resolution because they are viewed from farther away.
Export a print-ready PDF
Verify dimensions, bleed, image quality and fonts before sending the file.
